Recently, Meta introduced a new FB Login for Business. It is a new way for business apps to request permissions for the Meta business assets and information of app users. In other words, it is a way which Promo.com can connect to your Facebook account so you will be able to post your videos there.
Because of this change, your Facebook Access Token may expire and you will not be able to post your videos to FB. You may also receive a notification from Facebook to reintegrate/reconnect your account with Promo.com.
But there is nothing to worry about, as this can be easily fixed :)
NOTE. In case you did not receive notification from Facebook, but the Facebook connection is not working anyway, you can follow below instructions.
Here is a step-by-step instruction, on how to reconnect your Facebook account to Promo:
Reconnect your Facebook account to your Promo account.
In the Publisher Page, you will need to click on the 3 dots menu on the left side of your Facebook account, and then select "Reconnect". This will reconnect your FB business pages. Once done, you can go back to your Published Tab and post your video to FB as usual.
Disconnect (Remove) your Facebook page from Promo account.
In case, "Reconnect" option did not help, and you still cannot post your videos, please try to reconnect it manually. To do this, please, click on the 3 dots menu on the left side of your FB account, and click "Remove":
Log Out.
Once your Facebook account is disconnected, please log out from your Promo and Facebook accounts.
Log In and Connect
Now, please log in to your Promo account, and connect your Facebook account in your Publisher Page by clicking on “Facebook” option. The system will ask you to log in to your FB account at this stage.
Post video
Once you are logged in and connected to your Facebook account, please go back to your Published Tab and post your video to FB as usual.
