Using information you provide, such as your website URL, business name, business description, logo, watermark, and brand colors, the tool automatically:

You can generate 1 video at a time or the whole batch of videos at once (up to 30).

With PromoAI subscription plan, you receive a certain amount of PromoAI credits. One credit is used for each video download/publishing. The subscription also includes access to the non-AI Video Creator.

ActiveCast is a specialized AI video generation tool within the Promo.com ecosystem. It is designed for creators who want greater creative control and access to advanced AI video generation capabilities, such as animating static images, creating consistent avatars, bringing brand ambassadors to life, and generating highly customized marketing videos.

Because ActiveCast is part of Promo.com, you don't need to create a separate account. Both tools are available under the same platform account, although each requires its own subscription.

With ActiveCast, you can create videos using either photos from our built-in library or your own uploaded images. Simply select an image, tweak it with Scene Builder tool if needed, customize settings such as Action Template, Camera Motion, Duration, Aspect Ratio, and Resolution, then add your Action Prompt and Narration, choose your preferred AI model, and generate your video.

Note. Each Scene generation requires additional credits. The number of credits deducted depends on the AI model you select. Nano Banana 2 Lite uses 45 credits per generation, while all other models use 90 credits per generation.

With ActiveCast you can generate from 1 to 8 videos simultaneously depending on your subscription plan.

Since ActiveCast uses computationally intensive AI models, it has its own credit-based subscription plans. Each plan offers a certain amount of credits per month/year.

The number of credits required for each video depends primarily on the AI model you select, duration of the video, its resolution, and licensed image you selected. More advanced models, for example Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.5, Kling 3 Pro, etc., typically consume more credits because they produce higher-quality results. In some cases, additional project settings may also affect credit usage (please check this article about credit consumption). Also, all Sutterstock images cost extra credits upon download if you decide to use them. This is due to complex licensing policies.

If you run out of credits, you can purchase additional ones at any time without changing your subscription plan.

Although both tools use AI, they serve different purposes.

ActiveCast, on the other hand, focuses on transforming static images into short AI-generated marketing videos, giving you much greater creative control over the final result.

Note. Because the two tools use different credit models and generation technologies, credits cannot be transferred, converted, combined, or shared between them.

Although each tool requires its own subscription, you can manage both workspaces from the same Promo.com account on My Account page and on Billing page.

ActiveCast uses photos from Shutterstock and Story Blocks.

Note: Media from one tool's built-in library cannot be used in the other because each library has its own licensing terms. However, any photos you upload yourself can be used in both tools.

Note. Getty Images photos cannot be used to generate ActiveCast videos. To use Getty Images photos for AI video generation, you must obtain a special license directly from Getty Images that explicitly permits this type of use. You are responsible for obtaining the license and covering any associated costs. Once licensed, you must download the images directly from the Getty Images website.

Please note that Getty Images photos available through the PromoAI library cannot be used to generate ActiveCast videos, as they are not licensed for this purpose.
