No. If you already have a Promo account, you don't need to create a separate account to use ActiveCast.
Because ActiveCast is part of the Promo.com ecosystem, you can access it using your existing account. Simply sign in to your Promo.com account and start using ActiveCast.
On any page of your Promo account, hover over "My Workspace" and select "My ActiveCast videos" to access ActiveCast tool:
You can also manage your workspaces and subscriptions for both PromoAI and ActiveCast from the same Promo account on My Account page and Billing page.
Please note that the two tools use different licensed media libraries:
PromoAI uses content from Getty Images and iStock.
ActiveCast uses photos from Shutterstock and Storyblocks.
Because these libraries are licensed separately, media from one tool's built-in library cannot be used in the other. However, any images that you upload yourself are available in both tools.

Note. Getty Images photos cannot be used to generate ActiveCast videos. To use Getty Images photos for AI video generation, you must obtain a special license directly from Getty Images that explicitly permits this type of use. You are responsible for obtaining the license and covering any associated costs. Once licensed, you must download the images directly from the Getty Images website.
Please note that Getty Images photos available through the PromoAI library cannot be used to generate ActiveCast videos, as they are not licensed for this purpose.
Note: You must have the appropriate license or permission to animate any image you upload. If you are unsure whether you have the necessary rights, please check with the photographer or the platform where you obtained the image.
