Not using all the features included in your current ActiveCast plan or looking to reduce your subscription costs? Downgrading to a lower-tier plan may be the right choice.
Depending on your current subscription, you can downgrade in the following ways:
From any annual plan to any monthly plan.
From a higher-tier monthly plan to a lower-tier monthly plan.
From a higher-tier annual plan to a lower-tier annual plan.
When does my downgraded plan take effect?
All subscription downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Until then, you can continue using your existing plan. Your new plan will be activated automatically when your current billing cycle ends, and you'll be charged the new plan's price at the start of the new billing cycle.
Note: Downgrades do not qualify for refunds. Since your new plan takes effect only at the end of your current billing cycle, you can continue using your existing subscription until that date.
What happens to my remaining credits?
Your subscription credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over to the next one. Make sure to use your remaining subscription credits before your current billing cycle ends, as unused credits will expire when your downgrade takes effect.
Purchased add-on credits are an exception. They roll over to future billing cycles as long as your subscription remains active.
For example, you subscribed to the monthly Pro plan on April 16. On April 18, you decide to downgrade to the monthly Starter plan:
Your downgrade will be scheduled and take effect automatically on May 16, when your current billing cycle ends. Until then, you can continue using your Pro plan.
On May 16, your Pro plan will be deactivated, and your Starter plan will become active.
You'll be charged the Starter plan's price for the new billing cycle.
Any unused subscription credits from your Pro plan will expire at the end of the previous billing cycle.
Any purchased add-on credits will roll over, provided your subscription remains active.
Another example, you subscribed to the annual Max plan on September 5, 2026. On December 17, 2026, you decide to downgrade to the annual Pro plan:
Your downgrade will be scheduled and take effect automatically on September 5, 2027, when your current annual billing cycle ends. Until then, you can continue using your Max plan.
On September 5, 2027, your Max plan will be deactivated, and your Pro plan will become active.
You'll be charged the Pro plan's price for the new annual billing cycle.
Any unused subscription credits from your Max plan will expire at the end of the previous billing cycle. Any purchased add-on credits will roll over, provided your subscription remains active.
The same process applies when downgrading from an annual plan to a monthly plan: your new subscription will take effect, and you'll be charged the new plan's price, only after your current annual billing cycle ends.
How do I downgrade my subscription?
