How to post your video directly to TikTok

We are super excited to introduce an easy way of posting your AI videos as well as regular ones to TikTok! Now, you can do it directly from Promo :)

Please follow this step-by-step instruction to post your amazing video to TikTok:

If you wish to post your AI video, in your Planner, please click on the video you wish to post, select Vertical ratio and click "Schedule"

2. To publish your already published/downloaded video, please go to your Published tab, click on “Republish” under the video you would like to use and you will be redirected to the Publish page.

There, you need to select Vertical aspect ratio of the video (it is best for TikTok) and click on the “Schedule or publish a social post” button on the right side.

3. If you do not have any social media accounts connected to Promo, you will be redirected to the Account Manager page where you can choose the channel you want to post your video to. You need to click on the “TikTok” option.

Note: in case you already have any other social media channels connected to your Promo account, you need to click on the icon of the social media account you want to connect to your Promo account on the upper right side of the page

In the Account Manager you can add new channels and Disconnect already existing ones (once social media page is added, it will be saved in your account)

4. Log in to your TikTok account by selecting the relevant option from the list:

5. Once you are already logged in to your TikTok account in your browser (or you logged in earlier), click "Authorize" button.

6. You can add a caption to your post and select the audience who can watch it:

Note. Right now there is a bug on TikTok side. If you post your video as personal or friends only, the thumbnail of the video will be distorted and will look like this:

TikTok is already working on fixing this issue, and hopefully it will be fixed soon. Please stay tuned.

Allow users to comment, duet or stitch your video, disclose your post content, whether it is your brand or branded content and preview how it will look like once it is published.

7. Then choose whether you want to publish your post now or schedule it for later, and click on Publish.

8. You will be redirected to the confirmation screen, if your post is ready you can click on “Continue”.

A pop-up message will appear where you need to agree to TikTok's Music Usage Confirmation by clicking "OK".

After you click OK, TikTok will process your video and automatically post it when it's ready.
