What is the difference between Narration and Action Prompt?

Written by Lana

Narration is the dialogue or narration that the character speaks in the video. Whatever you enter in this field will be spoken by the character or narrator.

You can add several narrators/speakers if needed. Please check this article on how you can add more narrators to your video.

Action Prompt is the prompt or script that tells the AI what should happen on screen. It describes the visual elements of the scene, including:

  • Character actions and movements

  • Facial expressions and body language

  • Camera angles and movement

  • Background and environment

  • Objects and interactions

  • Overall mood and visual style

Think of Action Prompt as the visual script for your video.

In case you change the source image after you created your prompt, you can easily adjust it automatically. Please check this article on how you can do this.

Video Example:

Action Prompt: monkey is eating as the camera zooms in, he's enjoying himself and then looks at the camera and speaks, his voice is raspy and animal like, funny and high pitched - as you would imagine a monkey speaking

Narration: This is the best pizza I've ever tasted!

AI Model: Seedance 2.0

Duration: 5s

Resolution: 720p

Aspect Ratio: Vertical
