Color filter is a great way to make your text pop on the video!
Start off by hitting Edit on your footage and selecting the Color Filter option.

Select the color that works best for you. You can control the transparency on the slider below the color palette.

Note. If you wish to add different color to each video clip, you need to repeat the same steps for each video clip on the video timeline.

If you wish to apply the same color to all video clips on your video timeline, once the color and its transparency are selected, simply click 'Apply to all' button.
